Blue Peak Constructions

Sustainability
Commitment

At Blue Peak Constructions, we are committed to sustainable construction practices which adhere to best-in-class environmental policies.

We recognise the importance of the environment and we hold strong our commitment to continue our awareness & preservation which is reflected throughout our business. This is how Blue Peak Constructions, through our policies and procedures, fulfill our sustainable construction responsibility:

Drainage and Easements
Energy Use
The gravel pavement (5,000 tonnes) used to construct the carpark at Beleura Hospital was recycled material, the use of this standard of material helped the reduction in quarrying energy. Our tool-trucks are equipped with solar panels which allow us to use a source of renewable energy when it comes to the charging of our electrical equipment.
Water Use
Over the last 12 months, we made over 1,000m3 of concrete. Our suppliers using recycled water during the mixing process, thus no fresh water is wasted on site.
Waste
Alex Fraser, our Asphalt supplier, reuse cold milling of asphalt when producing their asphalt products, thus reducing waste to landfills. In the last year, Blue Peak Constructions have used 2,000 tonnes of asphalt of which 25% was recycled material.
Transport
Our construction material is sourced locally, therefore keeping our carbon footprint down. A mud map of all Suppliers are provided to the team to minimise the transport distance for each project.
Recycling of Construction & Demolition Waste

Blue Peak Constructions is committed to sorting and disposing all demolition materials at each of our project sites, to the appropriate recycle locations.
