Footpaths & Shared Paths

The Blue Peak Constructions team understand the importance of completing footpath construction in Melbourne promptly. Adhering to the highest of safety standards, we help keep the community safe by providing well-constructed infrastructure.

Similar to other project types, footpaths and shared paths come with a broad scope of works.

Civil Construction Contractors In Melbourne

Most projects including footpath construction in Melbourne include the excavation of existing paths, or the construction of a complete new path. They also usually involve adjacent cosmetic works such as the removal or planting of trees/vegetation, nature strip reworks, kerbs and channels and the reinstatement of street furniture.

The Yarra Trail Bike & Pedestrian Paths

The Yarra Trail bike and pedestrian path near the on-ramp to the Monash Freeway called for an upgrade. The Blue Peak Constructions team worked alongside a tight time frame and heavy traffic loads, to successfully widen the shared path. We also upgraded the fall protection fencing. This important work will ensure safe passage and use for many years to come.

Peverill Park Shared Bike Path, Malvern East

Blue Peak Constructions worked on the Peverill Park shared bike path in Malvern East. This project saw shared pathway works including 500m of asphalt and 1km of concrete kerb edge strip. It will now provide locals a safe path to use for many years to come.

Beach Road Shared Path, Black Rock

In this picturesque location, the Blue Peak Constructions team constructed an elevated and suspended concrete slab shared path with timber substructure. Our works took into account the environmental significance of the embankment vegetation. As such, we included the installation of handrail and guardrail protection, all under significant traffic management.

McCrae Street, Dandenong

Situated in busy central Dandenong, this project involved extensive traffic management, kerb reconstruction and 500m2 of a faux brick stencil pattern. The concrete faux brick was chosen to match the brick paving in the surrounding area. This removes the complication of tripping hazards which standard brick pavements can develop over time.

Hammond Road, Dandenong

The Hammond Road path in Dandenong called for a much-needed upgrade. Our team removed the existing path, widened and constructed a 1000m2 concrete shared path, including vehicle crossovers. Delivering locals a new and safe path to use.
